Thrifted blouse, thrifted high-waisted shorts, thrifted purse, Cole Hann sunnies, Swedish Hasbeens clogs
I've only lived in the Bay Area for a little over a year, but I'm still in disbelief when temperatures get hot enough to warrant bare arms and legs. For the first time I can remember, the highs have been in the 80s for a handful of days and that calls for wide open windows, grapefruit vodka sodas, and lots of lounging around. Thankfully, I love all of those things.
Even though I don't like to sweat unless I've earned it (see: running, climbing, or eating lots of Hot Cheetos), I'll embrace salty skin if it means getting to wear cut-offs and tank tops. I thrifted this top and pair of shorts (formerly mom jeans) when I was visiting Texas back in June. I failed to pack appropriate clothes for a proper Austin summer (as in, I packed three pairs of jeans) so a cheap pair of shorts was a necessity. I hadn't been thrifting in a while, let alone thrifting in my hometown, so I hit up my favorite store to see if they still had some goodies. Fortunately, I found three pairs of high-waisted jeans (that I turned into shorts), a sleeveless blouse, and an awesome, perfectly-Hawaiian tee.
I still got it, y'all.
